This practice represents the culmination of twenty three years experience, both in training and in the practice of Pediatrics. Previous to starting Berlin Pediatric Associates, I practiced in the small western New York town of Pittsford. It was a very successful and rewarding experience, and provided me with insights on how to provide appropiate care and fulfilling peoples' expectations. This practice emphasizes continuity in the care of children. When you come in for the well child exam, as well as the sick visit, you will see the physician. We will work in partnership to attain the maximum potential of every child on all levels (physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually). Your input is valued and desired. The physician's knowledge is at your service to aid in your questions and concerns. You should not feel afraid to ask any question, for it is not the responsibility of the parent to appear informed. LoPreiato, MD, FAAP on the premise of providing a true medical home for children and their families. In this model, the parents are empowered by providing a non intimidating, accessible and continuous relationship with the physician. This ensures that the physician can practice to his full potential for the child. The practice is located in the heart of Berlin's historic district and is easily accessible from either Route 9 South or 9 North (exit 22 either way), or from Route 372. NEW PATIENTS: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT WE ARE A SOLO PROVIDER PRACTICE THAT EMBRACES A TRUE MEDICAL HOME MODEL.  AS A RESULT OF THIS, WE MAY HAVE TO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS WE CAN ACCEPT AT ANY GIVEN TIME.  IN SUCH INSTANCES, WE WILL PROVIDE A SPACE ON OUR "WAITING LIST"  FOR PROSPECTIVE NEW PATIENTS. WE WILL PERIODICALLY NOTIFY PARENTS AS SPACES BECOME AVAILABLE IN THE PRACTICE.  IN THE CASE OF NEWBORNS, WE ASK THAT YOU SCHEDULE A PRENATAL VISIT WITH OUR OFFICE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO INSURE WE CAN ACCEPT YOUR NEWBORN WHEN YOUR CHILD ARRIVES.
